Workshop on Mammalian Cell Culture and Flow Cytometry

The centre for advance medical research and training is organising a one-week intensive hands-on workshop that will cover basics and practicals of in-vitro experimentation using mammalian cell culture and flow cytometric analyses of cultured cells.

 

Here, you will learn:

• the basics of cell culture, including sterile techniques, media preparation, and cell line maintenance.
• How to prepare cell-based assays and optimize culture conditions for different cell types
• the priciples of flow cytometry, including instrumentation, sample preparation, data acquisition, and analysis.
• how to design and execute flow cytometry experiments for a variety of applications

Workshop Venue : Centre for Advance Medical Research and Training (CAMRET), Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital Complex, Sokoto

Workshop Date: 5th to 9th June, 2023

Workshop Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm daily

Workshop Fees: One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Naira only (N120,000.00)
